All times to include preparation and clearing away.
Qualification for half rates:
- People who live in the parish of Helsington & Brigsteer OR
- Activities during the week Monday to Friday 09.00hrs to 18.00hrs
Cancellation
If a cancellation is made up to 2 weeks before the hire of the hall no charge will be levied.
If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the hire of the up to 50% of the hiring fee may be charged.
Charges for celebrations

Full use of the kitchen: The kitchen is used for food preparation or major use of the kitchen contents.
Limited use of kitchen: The kitchen is used for tea making and warming up of food.
Maximum number of guests 70
Event to finish by Midnight
Bar closed by 11.30
Cancellation
If a cancellation is made up to weeks before the hire of the hall no charge will be levied.
Less than 2 weeks up to 50% of the hiring fee may be charged

General notes
- The Board reserve the right to reject a hiring request in order to meet its responsibilities in areas such as health & safety, security and maintenance of the hall.
- Helsington & Brigsteer Village Hall cannot be held responsible for any failure in the supply of services. If this is an issue we advise the hirer to take out appropriate event insurance.
