It will be a BYO drinks so maybe get together & share a bottle of bubbles. Pots will be individually priced and range between £6 & £30 which includes the pot, the paints & the glaze & firing. You will be able to pay for the pots you select by cash or card to Deb on the night. Please let me know (pls message me) if you are going to come along & how many friends you are bringing so I can confirm numbers to Deb & Andrew to make sure they bring plenty of choice of pottery & to make sure we have plenty of snacks. Should be a very enjoyable evening & maybe a chance to start organising that Christmas present list! Shelley Talk by Julia Piggott.
‘In this week of celebration let's share our enjoyment of the place where we live. We can celebrate the pleasure of living in the Lyth Valley, perhaps learn about new places and increase our awareness of the countryside and projects we see around us. We hope you will join in with an hour of shared talk about this place, share our understanding of how the projects we see link into the current government agendas and address some of the issues of climate change. We will conclude using the method of 'Just One Thing' currently running on Radio 4 to see if there is one thing that individuals can consider doing to make change for the good and improve their health and wellbeing to mark this summer week.’ Summer Cocktail Party
