The next WI meeting will be the last open one for a while and it promises to be an interesting event.
Come along and hear Tanya and Ed Hoare talk about their work in swift conservation. They have learnt much about the life-history of these fascinating birds by linking webcams to nest sites on their house (currently 34 nests). Now they are working to reverse the decline in this species by techniques such as nest box provision. |
